Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland - now full members of the Stability Pact
The Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland became full members of the Stability Pact after all Stability Pact participants had been consulted and had agreed to their new status as full members. All three countries had previously worked actively and as observers within the Stability Pact framework and in various of its initiatives. The Special Coordinator welcomed this latest addition to the circle of Stability Pact participants. Not only are these three countries important donors within the Stability Pact, but their experiences as transition countries will be most valuable in guiding similar projects and initiatives with regard to South Eastern Europe. The three counties already take part as full participants at the meeting of Working Table III in Budapest (27-28 November), at the Working Table II in Sarajevo (29 November) and of Working Table I in Skopje (17-18 December).
